Whilst most of our customers use the units available in this category in conjunction with a Network Video Recorder, so that a large amount of footage can be recorded and stored for reference at a later date if required, it is possible to use the models that include a micro SD card as standalone units. Images stored on memory cards can be checked over the Internet if the camera in question is part of a network or the card can be removed and read by a laptop or other computer whenever convenient. Some models feature auto tracking and will automatically follow any movement that they detect when set to take advantage of this functionality.
